Paul Thompson - Group Director of Operations

Paul originally led a Management Buy In of TIR in April 2005. With a wealth of Managerial, Marketing and Sales expertise Paul completed his degree and spent 4 years working in Marketing, employed by an international company specialising in home automation systems. Paul's desire to move into a sales environment lead him into recruitment, joining Ellis Fairbank plc in 2003.

During 2 successful years with the organisation he specialising in recruiting operational and commercial positions within the Industrial sector. Throughout the latter part of his employment with Ellis Fairbank, Paul began working with a team of corporate financiers, identifying candidates for potential Management Buyouts. His work lead to the business setting up a corporate services decision, but rather than working in this division, Paul's work led him into his own Management Buy Out with TIR.
 
After running TIR for 18 months, Paul opted to sell the business to The DEFLOG VQ Trust Ltd, in order to take advantage of greater resources and allow the company to realise its true potential. He transferred as part of the assets, and is now fully responsible for the management of the business. The business has grown tenfold since October 2006 and the future looks very, very bright indeed.
