Mobile Simulator Based Training Unit Launches at CV Show 2011

We are pleased to announce that we have had to double the size of our stand at this year's Commercial Vehicle Show to ensure the official launch of our pioneering simulator based driver training receives maximum exposure in front of the thousands of visitors expected at this year's CV Show.

Introducing a new, innovative product to the market always creates a buzz of excitement and we are convinced that this new approach to training is in a league of its own.

Housed in a brand new custom built mobile training unit, the simulators are the centre of a training experience like no other.  After demonstrating simulator based LGV driver training at the Commercial Vehicle Operator show in 2010; we have spent the last year working with everyone from Wincanton to Morrisons to make sure that we have the ultimate training solution for 2011.

Tim Watson, TIR’s Commercial Manager said: “The development of our simulator based training comes from our desire to be market leader in driver training. We strive to offer the latest training experiences and by working closely with our clients we have created a flexible training solution that works to their advantage”.

"Our clients have said that the ability to train for extreme weather conditions, fuel efficiency and slow speed manoevring using simulation is a great opportunity, but the main thing any business owner wants is minimum down time and maximum benefit. Now we can bring this training to your door. Couple fuel savings of 4-6% with a reduction in accidents and onsite training and you can see why we are confident this is a great opportunity for clients to increase profitability in 2011".

Our launch will take place on stand no: 4G80 at the Birmingham NEC, 12th to 14th April.
