Train To Gain

On 31st January 2007 TIR Training Services Ltd secured government funding under the 'Train to Gain' scheme.

For us this is fantastic news as we can offer employers in the Yorkshire and Humber Region training in three distinct areas:

• Driving Goods Vehicles – for HGV drivers
• Carry And Deliver Goods – for Light Goods & Carriers/ Van
• Traffic Office Standards – for Traffic Office staff

This training, for which there is funding for a substantial number of Learners, is based on TIR’s well-practiced NVQ roll-out model, of which our staff have over 10 years’ experience.

This means:

• Training is delivered on your site – for drivers, this may mean the cab of their vehicle.
• There is no interruption to working patterns as our assessors will work the same shifts as your employees.
• The NVQ programs are available to all ages of employee.
