Course Objectives

  • Develop an awareness of risks to health and well being
  • Develop an awareness of how to minimise these risks
  • Identify the symptoms of Driver Stress, Fatigue and Apnoea

Learning Outcomes

  • Identify the importance of a healthy and balanced diet
  • Recognise the symptoms of Driver Stress, Fatigue and Apnoea
  • Identify the need for regular breaks
  • Identify medication that can have an affect of driving

Assessment

A written assessment at the end of the course

Certification

On completion of the course a certificate of attendance will be issued to all candidates and their details will be recorded on the Driving Standard Agency Database (as required by legislation). Candidates who pass the written assessment will receive a certificate of achievement from TIR Training Service Limited.
