Aims

  • Provide the candidate with the necessary training within a manoeuvring area
  • Ensure compliance with best practice with all aspects of health and safety

  • Trailer and ancillary checks
  • Manoeuvring techniques

Learning Outcomes

  • Implement a safe system of work
  • Demonstrate the correct manoeuvring techniques whilst maintaining effective observation

Assessment 

  • Continued assessment throughout the training
  • Receive feedback to emphasise key improvement areas with ongoing input and guidance from the instructor
  • Participate in a written assessment at the end of the course

Certification

On completion of the course a certificate of attendance will be issued to all candidates and their details will be recorded on the Driving Standards Agency Database (as required by legislation). Candidates who pass the written assessment will receive a certificate of achievement from TIR Training Services Limited.
