Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG)

TIR Training Services Limited offers learners enrolled on its programmes, and their employers, the benefits of impartial IAG. IAG is delivered at the start, middle and end of SFA funded programme. 

This will include discussion on further qualifications, career development opportunities and progressions within their job role. Our aim is to inform and advise learners on aspects of the transport and logistics industry in relation to their personal development and progression.

The service operates in line with the Matrix Quality Standard and the National IAG Board Code of Principles for Information, Advice and Guidance, details of which can be found here. As such, our objectives are:

• Learners have access to information on TIR courses, which will be provided to learners or sent within 24 hours.
• Learners have access to alternative course provision and progression routes where possible.
• Learners to be aware of organisations and agencies that can be referred to for IAG outside the scope of TIR’s IAG service.

Customers will be referred to the services and/or providers that can best meet their needs wherever necessary. To view our referral process, click here.
